About 'Internal error occurred ... XCCompilerSpecification.m:267'

Maybe, the following error occur due to Xcode 3 early version(?) problem, new one don't happen.

Internal error occurred while creating dependency graph: ASSERTION FAILURE in /SourceCache/DevToolsBase/DevToolsBase-921/pbxcore/SpecificationTypes/XCCompilerSpecification.m:267

However when you met this error, you check your the 'Architectures' setting.

1. select the project root item.

2. push Info. button (or apple + 'i'), the 'Project Info' panel is opened.

3. select 'build' tab.

4. see the 'Architectures' in 'Architectures' category.

5. select 'Native Architecture of Build Machine'. (... maybe)

6. close the panel.
7. build.
